My husband and I were going to Calef’s to get a ham for Christmas so we stopped by the Stonehouse Bakery. Due to Covid, there is currently a limit of 3 customers inside at a time. We waited outside for about 10 minutes or so. We visited around 1 PM so the assortment of donuts was slim but we ordered a couple of sandwiches and bought some pastries. I got a couple of the croissant danishes filled with chocolate and filled with cream and raspberry. Both were very good. I ordered a plain turkey sandwich since the toppings weren’t listed anywhere in the store (they are on the website). The sandwiches are pricy but my turkey was filled and huge. I could only eat half of the sandwich and ate the rest for dinner. I appreciated the fact that I was asked if I wanted any veggies on it or if I wanted it plain and if I wanted it grilled. My husband got the grilled pastrami sandwich.
I will be visiting in the future as I want to try the donuts and am curious how the other sandwiches are.
