image According to the Virginia And Truckee Railroad from America By Rail - The Heartland, the Virginia And Truckee Railroad operated the five mile round trip between Gold Hill and Virginia City in the heart of the historic Comstock mining region. Our ride can feature the Gold Hill mining area located at Gold Hill and the steep grades and the tunnel and the town of Virginia City. Our North American United States steamer tender engine locomotive was our number twenty-nine locomotive because something meant that it was a 2-8-0 North American oil burning engine that was built by the North American Baldwin train engine locomotive works through 1916 within the 20th century. The well-known Gold Hill mining area then the train ride had been full of neat historic North American western flavor and the North American Nevada scenery.
