I've eaten Ethiopian food in a number of cities so was looking forward to our first visit to Zagol. The food was quite good, the owner especially sweet and attentive. We thought the portions quite adequate and left with leftovers! For those who are looking for something different, give this a try you wont be disappointedgreat flavors.....Also try the homemade beer, its a cross between a porter and mead, goes great with the foo.

It was our first time for the location and the type of cuisine, but we loved it! The crepe/tortilla type thing was tangy and easy to tear into smaller pieces and pick up the food (since they do not have or use utensils). The place is decorated in traditional art, fabric, and figures. The service was fantastic-very warm and welcoming! We enjoyed the food overall, but the "spicy" options were NOT spicy, and the not spicy options were quite bland. When we go back, we'll be bringing salt and pepper for sure since they didn't offer it.
