Spear Electric took a 1997 house and transformed it into an up to date electrical friendly home with new fixtures and indoor and outdoor outlets and a 50 amp outlet for my RV. Also a TV/Game room that had everything you would want and more. I would give Spear Electric 10 out of 10 for honesty and being reliable, and doing things right the first time. We used them before and we will use them again. I would not have any problems hiring them for commercial or residential projects. They are that GOOD

Extremely disappointed with this company. This is for the review of the tech from Moapa valley not the gentleman that are in Vegas. I was initially very impressed that the technician responded to my home within 45 minutes. We had a burnt bust and some bad breakers. It’s a older panel box but he assured us that he could find a new bust. We thought that he was extremely unprofessional because he was speaking very badly of his business partners claiming they were working under his license and they owed him thousands of dollars. This was all within 10 minutes of meeting this man. Although, it took me about two minutes to actually look up the business license to find out it was no longer in his name. So I don’t understand why that story was being told. We weren’t going to say anything about this but being that he came back and charged us almost $300 to do a half assed job that is what has prompted this review. He did replace the burnt bust and a few of the breakers but he left a lot of the old Breakers that had some damage to them. He also conveniently forgot to connect the air-conditioning wires. One wire was connected to a breaker and the other wire he actually capped off and put it to the side and mentioned to us that he didn’t know what that was for. Needless to say, I had to call Rager And Sons air conditioning, because we were thinking maybe something got damaged in the AC when the problem In the panel box happened. When Danny from Rager And Sons arrived he had the problem figured out within 30 minutes. Needless to say he found that there was no power going to the air-handler and found out pretty quickly that the black wire that the technician pulled to the side and capped off was actually one of the main wires for the air handler. After Rager And Sons attach those wires to the breaker the air-conditioning immediately came on. We had to sleep three nights without any air with over 100° inside our home. I don’t think it’s very fair that we had to pay the master electrician almost $300 for him to totally mess up our wires and conveniently forget to connect the air-conditioning. Now I’m out another $150 because that’s what I had to pay Rager And Sons to fix the mistake of the master electrician. If you have to use an electrician here in the valley, I highly recommend that you call somebody from Mesquite or from Vegas or better yet call Rager And Sons because they’re just as good as the master electricians when it comes to electrical issues. Not a happy camper. And definitely not a review I would normally leave especially for living in a small town but I think this one is warranted! Thanks a lot SPERES!
