image This 5 stars is for Jason and Crystal at Lincare.  Jason came to our home to provide technical service to my mom's equipment.  Without going into her personal medical problems I'm very grateful for his advice and following through with what he said he'd do to help my mom. Crystal was very helpful in providing me information on the steps we need to take.  She was very thorough in helping me understand  what the equipment was for, how it would help my mom and finally how to go about getting the equipment. They were both very kind and  considerate during the process.  I really appreciate that.

image If I could give this company zero stars, I would. If you want equipment in a timely manner and filled correctly, stay away from linecare. My doctor sent an equipment order to Lincare on September 5th, when I hadn't heard from them by the 16 th I started calling. Claimed they didn't have anything even though I had a copy of the order sent to them. My doctor resent things and 2 more weeks go by. My doctor and I both keep calling. Finally one gal says "oh yes we have it but we just haven't got to it".  Finally they send stuff in to my insurance but it was the wrong info and we had to start again. When they finally got it right with the insurance info it took only two days to get the ok to go ahead. It took 6 weeks to get the order going. In the meantime I had to cancel a doctors appointment that was to check the fit of the equipment because I never had it. Was called in to Lincare to go over the equipment but while waiting to be called, I could hear they didn't have the equipment after all. Wait again, finally get it, go to my doctor and they had ordered the wrong mask. Here we go again. Finally got the right mask but no head gear.  I even talked with the manager, which didn't seem to correct things either.They then order that, I come back from a vacation, call to pick it up, make an appointment.  Go in for my appointment, nobody knows about any appointment.  Finally the gal that I am to meet with comes in but tells me that won't give me the head gear because I had told them once I received the right equipment I was going to another company. Even though this was equipment they were to replace from the first screw up.It has been one mess up after another, they can not seem to get anything correct and do anything in a timely manner. It's a good thing it wasn't equipment I needed for critical health care. Find another equipment provider and save yourself lots of headaches!!!!!

image I have no complaints with Lincare.  When I first required a Nebulizer, they sent a representative out with the equipment and he was very thorough in explaining how I was to use it and setting me up with Medicare for the albuterol vials.  When I then had to add Oxygen to my protocol of treatment, another gentleman came out with the concentrator and also, several large individual tanks, should the power go out.  If there is a problem, you can call them 24/7 for help and they will talk you through it. Only thing they don't offer is weekend service in their office.  I also get small portable tanks from them for those times I want to go out. We bring them to the office as much as necessary and they immediately replace them.  The only thing  they don't have as far as I know, are portable concentrators for rent and/or sale, although I've not actually asked.  The staff that I've encountered thus far, has all been very friendly and competent.

image I called for service on my equipment because my oxygen machine quit working at night .. So I called in the morning at 10 a.m.  and  the receptionist was in no hurry to give me service , She told me the guys weren't in the field yet so it would be awhile.. Really!!! I need this to breath..  So I called every 2 hours .. Finally they showed up at 6:30 pm to my home.. John the rep was rude as heck.. I was coughing cause I have severe asthma and it was difficult to breath cause I hadn't had oxygen for hours.  He sayes to me. Do you have something contagious?  Am I going to get sick?  Nice guy..  Then he proceeded to complain about having to change the filters on my oxygen machine.  etc.. Basically due his job.  He didn't even hook a tank up to my portable unit for me.. I would never recommend this company to anyone..  I asked him if they would come out in the middle of the night next time for me to fix my machine and he gave me a dirty look.   I would suggest you use another company.. They want your money .. But give terrible service.   Needless to say we will be changing companies as soon as possible..
