I am giving one star because I can't give NEGATIVE stars. I tore a contact lense while on vacation in Vegas. I had my friend overnight me a pair. Simple, right? Not so apparently. The shipping with UPS from home was reasonably easy but retrieving them was a cluster, well, you know. I looked on the website for the nearest UPS store and used that address. It looked like a free standing building from the picture. No problem, short drive and we're done. Not exactly. I called at 10:30 am because that's what I paid for. Overnight delivery by 10:30 am. I had to repeat the tracking number 6 times before the clerk got it correct. No exaggeration. I read it twice, having him read it back after each time. Still wrong. Read it again, this time I read the numbers in groups of 3. Still wrong. Ok, so I read it on groups of 2 digets. I did this twice. No luck. I finally read each di-get in- di- vidg- ual-ly pau-sing af-ter each one listening for the computer key click. He then asked me for the last 4 digets..... again. I had him read it back to me and he finally got it correct. Yeah. He then went to find my package. 10 minutes later he returns to the line to tell me they found it, but I couldn't get it for another hour because they had not checked it in yet. I waited for 3 hours before calling again. It was finally ready for me to come get. I verified that the address is correct. He assured me that it was. We headed to the store. After driving past the address twice, I called and asked him where the store was and for a landmark nearby. Oh, he said, we're inside the hotel Linq. Really? Your picture shows a free standing building in the sunshine. That's not you? No he says, we're in the hotel. Great info now that we've driven around Vegas looking for it. We finally found the store. I showed my ID and he went back to his computer and phone to find my package. This took this took another 10 minutes. He comes back out and says that it took a while because, wait for it.......the tracking number was written down wrong. Oh boy, what fun we're having now. I paid the $10 pick up fee on top of the $85 shipping cost. Wow, what a racket. And, don't forget the parking charge because we had park in the hotel parking garage. He processed the fee and then left to get my package. Oh, not so. He went back to his computer and phone to call down stairs. She's on her way with it now. Ok. Another 10 minutes and I went back to ask if she was coming. Right after I asked, I looked up and saw her coming in with a 6 wheel cart! Do you have any idea what 2 individual contact lenses weigh? I'll tell you. .4 lbs including packaging. 6 wheel cart? Wow. I had to sign again for my package. But I got it! Simple, right? If this had not happened to me and was told this story I would never have believed it. I rarely write reviews but this was so unbelievable that I felt I needed to.

Claims to be a UPS store, but charges $10 when you drop off a "free" amazon return. Claiming, we are a Hotel UPS store and have to charge. This is just another example of how carnivorous corporations have become, especially in Vegas, at separating tourists from their money. If you have to drop off what is supposed to be a free amazon return, call ahead, and you can avoid the larcenous aggressive money grabbing tactics of corporate greed.
