Expensive and worst service ever. The food is good and the atmosphere a little better too, but the worst place in terms of service. Highly not recommended unless you call before going there and all the other halal places in the city are closed.

I love Indian food, and have been going to Origin India food... but I wanted to try something else... BIG mistake. This place was brightly lit, with few customers inside. It took 3 minutes of waiting for a little girl come out and tell us we could sit anywhere. We chose a clean table in the corner. There were a couple others, but they still had used plates on them, dirty dishes. We were handed a couple menus, and the little girl walked away. 10 minutes later she came back to get our order, at which point I asked for a cup of hot water for my wife (she brings her own tea) and a glass of water with lemon for me. We then started asking about the different food choices. We were told that even though the menu said goat and lamb would be served, there was no goat and lamb. No problem, we can do vegetarian and chicken. I asked about an appetizer, which mentioned it had green peas, onions, and something else. The little girl said it had cheese and jalapenos, not what was described on the menu. We did finally decide on what to get, and the little girl walked away. 7 minutes later, she brought our waters. Mine was supposed to have lemon in it... it was room temperature and had no ice or lemon. My wife's was luke warm and had a lime in it. 30 minutes later we finally got our appetizer. Supposedly it was to be garbanzo beans, onions, and spices. The little girl also brought out our plates which had cheap paper napkins you can get at a dollar store, with a fork and spoon on it. When my wife asked about a diet soda instead of the luke warm water, the little girl walked back and put a can of soda in front of my wife, unopened, no glass, no ice, just a warm soda... and the appetizer was covered with cilantro. hunh?In the pictures of this place, you see clean white white walls, they were brown and there was some silver cloth thing covering the walls, but you could see the holes which they hadn't bothered to repair. You see glass tables and glass covering white table-cloths, they were just table cloths made from leopard print. You see TVs, they weren't there, just the brackets to hold them. The mirrors had smudges on them, which shows they weren't cleaned since the last banquet they had. Sound carries, the few patrons were whispering, and we could hear their whispers. We paid $16 for a Groupon, to get a $35 value... the little girl tried to tell us the value was only $30. When the little girl put the warm diet soda can in front of my wife, we left. We don't need to sample the food to know how bad this place was. Total time spent in this place... about 1 hour, dreading all the time. What must have been a nice place once, is not a dirty, grungy, and gaudy place. Severely dissapointing, AVOID this establishment.
