Danielle "D." Barnes was introduced to the industry at an early age. Coming from a musical family, she was destined to be in the entertainment industry. The former background singer (for gospel artist Arneata') expanded her career goals after taking on the role of manager for Arneata' in 2004. Realizing she had found her calling in the music industry, she graduated school in July 2008 becoming a Legal Administrative Assistant, having the knowledge of law, contracts, marketing, lawsuit preparation and process serving. After a few years, D. recognized her client’s needs exceeded that of just needing an assistant or manager, they also needed someone who could handle all their music business needs. She returned to school to study Business & International Marketing.

In November 2015, D. negotiated her first club residency at the Stardust Club in Downey, Ca., hosting every 3rd Sunday night with DJ Krunk, where she gained a reputation for singing and performing. In May 2016, D. decided to relocate to Las Vegas, NV and conquer a new territory. On January 3, 2017, D. Barnes became a radio show host on Rhythmic Karma Radio, which inspired her to expand her own company to include the internet station "DMEG RADIO" at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/dmegradio, which launched on March 6, 2017.

In 2018, D. hopped into the hospitality industry, managing several quick service restaurants saving money until she was able to finance her next endeavor. In 2019, she was blessed to meet former Death Row Records legend and "Preacher of R&B", Danny Boy Steward. This is where she became known as "Danni Gyrl". Danny Boy hired Danni Gyrl to be his personal assistant as well as his restaurant and event booking manager of his Las Vegas strip restaurant "Legend's". After Legend's closed and Danny Boy relocated to Chicago, Danni Gyrl teamed up with several people in Las Vegas and began hosting and promoting shows. Danni took a leap of faith after a previous failed attempt, and started DMEG Catering in January 2020, where she caters her own events. In 2021, Danni released her first ever single "Blunts For 2" (currently streaming on all music platforms).
