I have been on Lorazepam for about 20 years.
I suffer from acute anxiety and it helps me sleep.
It has been proven that I can not sleep without it.
And without sleep no one can live.
The Dr that prescribed it to me and my Mother for 20 years moved out of town so I had to fi d me another family dr.
This new family dr won't prescribe it to me because he says that it is a controlled substance drug so he sent me to a psychiatrist.
The psychiatrist gives a one month supply and every time I need a refill I call the pharmacy and it takes him a long time to answer the pharmacy and refill my prescription.
I have to go to his office in person and make some noise in order to get my much needed medicine.
If I go without it for two or three days that means that I don,'t sleep for two or three days straight and I am a total diferent person. I don't like the way I feel and I can not function and have a normal life.
I feel very agitated and upset
and do not like the thoughts that come to my head.
I really need help and don't know who to turn to.
I really am not happy with this dr at all because I feel like he is not taking me serious and his playing with my life.
I hope and pray that I get my medicine on time when I need it, before I do something really stupid and
crasy and end up in jail or in a mental institution.
Drs get paid losts of money to stop their patients from suffering.
Why isn't this dr listening to my needs and help me?
Time to call my insurance and look for another dr, I think.
Now I know why so many poor people get in trouble with the law and end up in jail.
It's just like people on medicine for seizures and many other serious health issues like parkersons or Helzeimers.
What happens to them if you take their medicine away from them? Right?

This is for the Tropicana location. The front desk is understaffed and/or incompetent. My mother had an appointment for two weeks and the staff never verified her insurance beforehand. Long story short we wasted our time and gas because they started the verification process when we got there and it went past our appointment time. Dr. Chang then couldnt see us because hed be short on time. The staff was saying theyre understaffed like thats her problem. I do not recommend coming here.
