The rates have gone insane. They raised my rates substantially on my previous renewal. I told them I would be shopping. I got busy and failed to shop around. My rates went up substantially again for my current renewal. I told them I would be leaving them, they told me they would run me through their "new system" to see if they could do any better. They did that, and my rates went back to what they were last year, about 25% less. I had already made an appointment with State Farm, so I kept that appointment. State Farm came in at 25% lower than American Family's "new system". The only positive I can say is Allen and his staff are very kind and pleasurable to work with, but kindness isn't enough for me to just throw money away. After 17 years I have moved on.

Nice people work there but there rates got way out of line. Much too expensive for me.

I'm happy to recommend Allen Kac at American Family Insurance. In addition to his great service and caring nature, he's got great rates on homeowners insurance and really good life insurance and auto insurance options. If you live anywhere near the Summerlin Las Vegas area, you've got to meet with Allen and have him give you a quote.
