I live in California and my Dad lives in Nevada. He had a stroke about a year ago, and his health has been steadily declining since.
Fortunately, I have been blessed with the pleasure of Maggie and her Supervisor, Latonya, caring for my Dad.
My Dad is a diabetic and recently has been slipping into diabetic comas. Today, my Dad's care provider, Maggie, was scheduled to take my Dad to get some blood work done. Latonya called me to inform me that my Dad was not answering his phone nor his door and they were concerned. Maggie and Latonya went above and beyond to see that my Dad was okay. They ended up having to call emergency services because my Dad was slipping into a diabetic coma. Both ladies were very patient with my Dad and me. Even though I am in a different state, I feel at peace knowing that we have these ladies on our team.
You can pay people to do a job, but you cannot pay them to care. These ladies truly care about their patients AND their families. If I could give them more stars, I would! Thank you, ladies! I feel truly blessed to have you watching over my Dad!
