Hi Prime Time, hope this reaches you. I've enjoyed your plant videos & learned lots, thank you. I have a heated to ~82°F planted/snails/Molly, Platy, Loach/35 gal. tank but the only plant that grows well & thrives is a 12" tall Sword plant. I've killed more tender leafed plants & mosses than I can count! The gravel is medium sized & I've got a decent LED light. A little green & black furry (not hair-like) algae grows on the Sword & occasionally on other items. I fertilize (occasionally) with good quality tank fertilizer but I find it leads to green & cloudy water. The fish are generally healthy & breed successfully. The tank has been going for over 20 years & the water is clear, softened well-water. I pay attention to water quality & replace it as needed. The water pH is 8.5, quite basic but I don't play around with it...if a breed of fish survives, great, if not I don't buy it again. This is my question, I'm wondering what your water pH is? Is our quite basic pH why tender plants refuse to survive & thrive in my tank? Thanks, Joanne

Armando has provided excellent service for our two salt water reef tanks for two years. He has rescued our tank on a Sunday when our pump failed and he took care of our tanks (and kitties) when out of town. He is knowledgeable and always answers our questions. Armando is always polite, courteous, and very reliable. We highly recorded our "Fish Dude". Bill and Renee B.
