Had my first appointment with Dr Miranda today. Staff was nice check in and out was fast. Dr Mirandawas very knowledgeable fast and to the point. When you spend a lot of time in dif ferentt doctors offices you appreciate appointments like these.

My mom went to him for the first time in July.  First red flag he was insisting she was in the month before (she has NEVER been in that office ever before)!  Second red flag - he failed to even look over her chart before entering the room and had no clue as to what she was there for - really???   She was also diagnosed with suspicious nodules and as a result of PET scan and biopsies, confirmed lung cancer.  Now the kicker as to what a useless POS he is... at her next visit after getting the PET scan and biopsy, he tells her that, "You have cancer and your life span will be cut short!!"  Repeats this multiple times to her.  Without her seeing an oncologist or getting metabolic testing for the type of cancer (lung cancer is treatable and can be put into remission) he decides she is dying.  She left in tears.  After this statement her oncologist, at her very first visit, more than once kept telling her that the cancer is not going to kill her.  It is a very slow growing, very treatable cancer and will NOT kill her.  Hmm... I wish she listened to me at the beginning and went elsewhere for a cardiologist.  Nevada Heart and Vascular Center is NOT a practice that I would recommend either.  They never get back to you.  I would NOT go to this doctor as he is not a good cardiologist.  Obviously has the typical God complex.

I do not recommend Dr. Miranda. I recently had tests done and when I went into the office, he did not go over any of the tests in detail. I felt rushed and felt he did not care about me and my well being. So disheartening. I have since moved on and am much happier with my new caring doctor. Move on with this one. He is not worth YOUR time.

The most amazing , kind and brilliant Dr. ever. Great bedside manner. I've been his patient for 12 years and I'm getting healthier and healthier with his proactive preventive medicine approach. I go once a year for labs and a follow up. Thank you Doc M.
