Culligan Water of Las Vegas

After purchasing our house we found the existing water softener (not a Culligan) needed to be replaced. Renee Howard of Culligan Water of Las Vegas came out, evaluated our water, answered all of my endless questions and concerns, and provided several options on a new system including RO for drinking water. We could not be happier with the new Culligan system! Renee was so helpful and knowledgeable. She even came out a couple of months later to re-check the system to make sure all is still as it should be. Which, of course, it is! We highly recommend Renee and Culligan Water of Las Vegas.

Tired of calling multiple times to fix the billing issues. They have made the process so complicated by using charging and then crediting for returned bottles.

Culligan products are great and the company has existed for a long time. However, the customer service has serious issues in recent times. I have been a customer for over 14 years and was having such difficulty getting through to the company to schedule my resin replacement and get a cost estimate I almost replaced the system. The new owner/manager of the Vegas office got involved though and everything seemed alright. The technician was almost an hour late, but a nice guy and did a good job removing the resin tank for refurbishment. When the tank was refurbished I was called by the technician who did it, he gave me the price quote, and scheduled me for a 10-12 am reinstall. I was pretty impressed that it seemed the customer service situation was corrected and have been considering not only an upgrade, but upgrading/replacing my Culligan RO system too. However, the office then called me to confirm my schedule and said it was not 10-12 but now 3-5? Unfortunately, Culligan has become unreliable and their customer service from the office and those who set the schedules is a fail. I like the products, have never had these quality issues occur previously, but even in reading the reviews it seems the new normal for Culligan. Probably better to use another company like Kinetico or even just go through Lowes or Home Depot. I already agreed to pay for the refurbishment of the resin tank, the office team obviously already knew that. Maybe things will change, but honestly at the rate Culligan is going, I don't imagine they will be able to stay in business much longer. Part of the indicator to that is the Vegas office was recently changed to a new owner and manager? Why? Let's hope this isn't right, Culligan is an iconic American company. It would be really unfortunate for them to go out of business like Montgomery Ward and Sears...who also went out of business due to customer service issues.
