Just go to another closest branch if you need to go inside to do something with your account. I just spoke with Laura, apparently on of the “managers”, and upon asking if she knew what the quickest method of money transfer for their bank would be, she told me to call a 1 800 number because she doesn’t know. I thought I was making a smart decision with going with US Bank. They froze my debit card due to suspisions of fraud. But they did not freeze the ACCOUNT which absolutely made no sense to me. I was notified through TEXT that they suspected fraud. I withdrew the last of my funds to prevent any more damage. BUT somehow charges still went to the account, and caused over draft fees. After getting the fraud issue cleared up the bank refused to reverse the Over draft fees. Which added up to 257.00. After speak with several people, they agreed to waive 2 over draft fees. Although THEY are the ones who allowed the charges to come through on an account they suspected fraud on.. I am now unable to close my account and pay off the balance because there is a pending charge. So once they decline this charge and add another 36.00, I MIGHT be able to close the account next week. Pending no other auto draft try to debit from the account. .. I would never recommend US bank to anyone. All banks are a scam, but this has to be at the top of the chart.
