Got a text yesterday from a representative of Car Medic that they are closed permanently and I have 7 days to remove my car. So they had my classic car for 13 months and $8500 later I have nothing. I have contacted the owner of the building to get in and Decatur Auto next door is going to see what they can do to help me and store the car. I also contacted the credit card company I used and they are starting an investigation. I have contacted an attorney also. The owner of car Medic did get a heart problem and was in and out of the hospital but should not have had his people string me along. There is a police seal stopping the door from being opened..

Nothing but accolades to this shop, who were the only place in town who finally tuned my classic split window corvette - to run as it did when newly bought nearly 6 decades ago ,by my great grandfather . Thank you ! Service: Auto engine tuning

Had my car for a total of 22 days over the course of 2 clutch repairs, very slow to order parts, I had to call them 3-4 times a week trying to get a updates on my vehicle... at one point he had my car in another shop being worked on by another mechanic, all without a phone call to update me what was going on. He also commented on this review that I didn't make an appointment, which is a flat out lie, we called him on a Friday, and he told my father and I to drop the car off on Monday to be worked on. I get that he was having staff issues with his receptionist taking time off, but having to badger him every 2-3 days to get updates, to see if the parts have been ordered.. never getting phone calls from him and always being the one who has to call to get a update, the whole repair job was handled so unprofessional.
