Conrad West Gallery / A N N E X Gallery

If you think you are buying an "original" from Conrad West, take note that will not be the case. We purchased an "original" for almost $15,000, only to see it recreated and new price is $12,000. To top it off, the Gallery has it displayed in the foyer of our country club, so chances are pretty good someone in our area will purchase it, leaving the art to be nothing more than what you would buy at Z Gallerie. I wrote a stellar review last year when we believed Conrad was a true gallery, but now they've proven they're not.

It was my first time visiting the art district, and I checked out all the galleries there. On top of this one having some of the best art I had seen, the staff and space was very inviting. There was no pressure to buy, Sarah and everyone is was very knowledgeable and they were happy to answer any questions and were just happy to show you around.

An experience to rival any other... we wandered in on a hot Saturday, and after chatting with Gary Conrad (the owner, but you would never know, as he is very humble), he quickly assessed our style, and showed us a pic of a new piece of art that was coming in the following week... and, it was EXACTLY what we were looking for! We are now the proud owners of a beautiful, whimsical, 6'x4' zebra in a top hat, custom framed to match our exact tastes! In the process, we gained new friends, Gary and Clare Conrad are about the most down to earth humans we've encountered in a long time...yet they knew what we wanted, long before we realized it! We are so enamored with our new zebra, we named him "Conrad". Give this gallery a little bit of you, a little bit of vulnerability, and I promise, you will come away with an experience and piece of art that you will cherish forever.

We've visited galleries around the world and I can honestly say that this gem of a gallery is world-class for emerging artists. The owners, Claire and Gary Conrad are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The variety of artistic styles they represent fit our interests for art of distinct genres. They delivered and installed art we purchased in our home outside of NV. I've already recommended the gallery to friends and we will, I'm sure, be purchasing more beautiful pieces in the future.

This gallery is a jewel!!! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable with a chill vibe, and really took the time to go over each artists bio and work. We found several pieces we love. Its like going to a mini Art Basel without the hassle of traveling or being overwhelmed or over stimulated! She even came out to my place and brought different pieces to try in my space. We will be recommending this gallery to our friends from all over the world and we look forward to building our collection with Claire and her amazing team.
