University Gardens Apartments

It is the worst place to live, all their staff is very incompetent and rude and lazy to work especially Denise, they take too long to come to fix something. my friend recommended me to live here, but I regret coming, no I would recommend someone in this type of place.

Half the buildings have been without Hot water for two days. You would think this is an emergency and would be handled quickly right? Wrong!! All we get is text messages saying they apologize. SMH. Dont move here!! Cant wait for my lease to be up.

I am having a problem at the moment the stove is not working we have already called and they tell us that it is not an emergency, so how will I cook? I have a baby. I need it fixed. I pay rent on time.

The leasing office staff is rude, lazy and incompatant, and the manager Kimberly does not know how to talk to people. The office doors stay locked so you can't speak to anyone in person, and they never answer the phones! It takes weeks to months to get something fixed, and then the maintenance crew can never fix things right the first time!! Every winter when it rains, the roof outside my front door leaks, and caves in because they never fix it CORRECTLY...just repatch it....and the take so long to fix it, birds made a nest and had babies TWICE! I don't know why they advertise a "balcony" because it's NOT one, it's jutst the space outside of your front door and they don't even let you put a chair out there. The pool and the so-called fitness room was closed 2 out of the 3 years I was there....the "business center" is inside the leasing office, and that's been closed to residents since 2020 which means no access to that either. There hasn't been security presence there since 2020 either. The complex gates are always broken for weeks to months at a time, so ANYBODY can come in...including the homeless!! My car was broken into because the gate was broken and no security on site, and the staff didn't even care! The apartments are roach infested, and them spraying one apartment, but not the others connected to it, doesn't solve anything...which is why they still have roaches!! They've also had past bed bug infestation as well, and seeing how they handle the roachs, I'm sure some units still do have bed bugs, which means it's just a matter of time before they're all infested AGAIN!! And they're NOT going to give you your deposit back after you move, unless you take them to court....this place, the staff and the entire company in whole is just ghetto!! Half those pictures on the website of the apartment complex are old...there is no tennis court, and it's normally not that clean, they only clean near the model units when they're going to be showing it...and the inside pictures are of the model units.... The actual units don't look like that, trust me!! The rent is cheap because the service you will receive is cheap!!!! Don't move here....YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

Main office has horrible customer services and maintenance will take a whole month to respond to a emergency maintenance order. Kimberly in the front office has a very bad attitude she does not know how to speak respectively to others . Front office act like they have a problem with helping tents with problem but there quick to put notice on door when late for rent ! (yet none of my maintenance orders has been fixed so why should i rush to pay them !)
