        Since I ordered my two items I have waited over 20 weeks without my items arriving. I have emailed Franz multiple times and most dont get responses and when he does respond it's with workers in Poland are just coming back to work so it will ship shortly, or he couldn't get a response from the factory. Honestly, it's just all lies. The Black Room has no intention of shipping my items and I suggest anyone who thinks about buying from them to not do so. This is a website that is taking money from people and not shipping items. While you may think this is a one-time occurrence, if you search the reviews of this store, you will see this is a standard practice for them. Thousands have been stolen by this store from people purchasing items online and it is unfortunate.

        I wish I could give the store a better rating but I won't be returning due to an uncomfortable experience. When inquiring about the corsets the owner says he must measure you to tell you the right size. He kept asking me to try on the corset and I had to repeatedly tell him no, that I didn't want to try it on. He also asked too many personal questions for my comfort level. I would not go here alone. Update: Based on the owner's response, I don't think he really understands why I gave him a single star. It's perfectly fine for him to recommend taking measurements prior to purchasing a corset, but it is definitely not fine to harass a customer to do something they don' t want to do (and repeatedly declined), especially when to do so would result in the owner being in your personal space, mostly likely touching you in the process of taking the measurement. Not to be cliche, but "NO" means "NO" not "please ask me 5 more times so I can feel awkward and obligated".

        I was visiting Vegas for the first time and the friend I was staying with suggested the Black Room. The owner was so nice with a great sense of humor. He helped me pick out some fun stuff and I appreciate his professionalism. I will for sure come back on my next visit!

      The Black Room

      Franz Pass, the owner and manager of The Black Room, was born in Damme, West Germany (back when there was such a thing) in 1946. Franz grew up near Lake Dmmer, a great spot for fishing and boating. Attending junior college, he learned about the textile retail business and studied management. Eventually he came to the USA in 1970, while working for a German hosiery manufacturer. In 1985, Franz opened up The Black Room, a fetish store, in Irvine, California. They built up a reputation for quality and worked with people from fetish photographers like Gerry Koehler, Ken Markus, and David Jackson (of DDI) to legends of the adult film industry like Ron Jeremy, director Jim Powers, and Brianna. He's also provided outfits for fetish models like Mistress Persephone, Kumi Monster, Masuimi Max, and Dita von Teese. In 2010, Franz decided he wanted a change of scenery and moved to Las Vegas. He quickly set up shop off the Strip and opened a new version of the store.
