Always Open Garage Door

They install garage doors.  My house in Las Vegas has two of their garage doors, so I needed additional remotes.  Turns out they install proprietary garage doors that require remotes that are not available locally except for going back to this company, and they charge $45 for each remote itself.  They refused to tell me which remotes would be compatible with the opener.Thru my research, I found the (marantec) remotes available for less than $19 on amazon.  My issue with this is that they made their money when garage door was installed, they should not be holding the customer hostage to pay more than double the market price for the replacement remotes.  At the very least, have the courtesy to tell the customer which remote they are offering to sell.  In addition to the $45 for the remote, they would charge a technician coming out to program it.  I needed two remotes, so I opted to just remove their garage door and replace with a quiet and wifi-enabled garage door for $160.
