La Ferme

Went there with my parents and my lovely girlfriend on a whim. Just happened to discover the location in Genoa, Nevada, on a lark. It feels as if you waltzed back in time and decided to eat at a very well kept rural house with a chef who actually cares about your dining experience. I had the raw fish with citrus dressing as the appetizer. My main course: the braised beef. Spent nearly three hours with my family and GF. When they served a lemon maringue dessert to my GF, they wrote "La Ferme" in caramelized cream. It is fairly expensive but well worth the treat. When we exited the warm, congenial establishment, I believe it was the owner sitting next to his patrons at the bar, wishing us goodbye.

Delightful spot in Genoa, NV which provides the most authentic, classic French restaurant experience this side of the ocean! From the lovely staff--with their excellent recommendations and attentive, yet unobtrusive, service--to the carefully assembled and decorated plates and desserts, my dining experience at La Ferme was definitely one of the highlights of my summer.

This place is fantastic. Intimate and homey feeling. Excellent service and food, but it costs a pretty penny.

An excellent French restaurant unparalleled in Carson Valley; quiet atmosphere with unique combinations of entrees. Great service. Impressive menu. Singular cuisine. Personable and extremely knowledgeable owner/executive chef. Will definitely come and eat here again.

Absolutely great restaurant at a high price. Great splurge. Many authentic French choices. I've been to many restaurants in France that didn't do as well. The owner is a jewel and made our experience magnifique.
