Ordered orthotics for Plantar Fascitis. Terrible experience w the office staff. Shady business practices (collect money upfront then say they will refund you after insurance claim processes but do not proactively refund once insurance pays them.)Dr Bean will tell you one thing then tell his staff another. Example "you don't need a follow-up appt."  Then front desk person 1 calls to say "Dr wants a follow up to see if that second pair of orthotics fits!"   How absurd. I say no, already discussed and Dr Bean agreed. 10 seconds later office person number 2 calls saying I must make an appt.DO NOT GO HERE

One of the nicest doctors you will find in Carson City. My husband has been a patient of retired Sr Dr Bean and now his son Jeffrey who took over the practice. I became a patient last week and I never felt rushed, he answered all of my questions.The staff are so cordial and helpful, the office is very warm and comfortable.Highly recommend Dr Bean

I would give 0 stars if I could. I brought in a pair of custom orthotics to be refurbished. I have had orthotics refurbished many times over the yrs and am very familiar with the process, they are sent out to a lab to ensure that they fit correctly. I was not informed that Dr. Bean did refurbishing himself in the office - nor was I given the option to have them sent to a lab. My left orthotic after 3 attempts by Dr. Bean, is completely unwearable and ruined. A new sent will cost approx 650.00 which is not covered by insurance. My orthotics make the difference if I can walk and function pain free. I requested a refund, was told NO. I am currently seeking remedy in small claims court. I also find it very odd that I was given a hand written invoice for services rendered - when i questioned the front office regarding my invoice I was told "it was so the patient knows what they are paying for" that makes absolutely no sense - very shady practice

I saw Dr Bean a few years ago for problems with my baby toes. I was unaware that some of the problem was that I had "corns" on the baby toes. He offered me surgery.  He actually cut the BONE out of my toes shortening them, removed the corns, and then told me, after doing BOTH FEET AT THE SAME TIME, that all I'd need was Tylenol!  Let me tell you, I have been an unfortunate person in my life. I've had an a** ton of surgery. And this was the WORST surgery I've ever had. I was in excruciating pain. I was ready to pee in my bed so I didn't  have to get up on my feet. And when Dr Bean was told he called me a baby and a wannie. He acted like I  was drug seeking and I did NOT appreciate that. I was literally miserable and was screaming at my husband at the time to send me to Heaven. The unprofessionalism of this doctor astounded me. I did not continue care here and the WORST part is the corns are back WORSE then ever and my feet are in so much pain and he has ruined my trust in podiatrists. I'm scared, nervous an untrusting. So make sure to do your research!  Just a side note the back staff was super nice but the front office was very rude to me when I called in a panic over this. Telling me the doctor didn't have time. I just found before the surgery I was more important, felt like I was nickel and dimed over products as well. But that of. Purse is only MY PERSONAL experience. Thank you.
