The Carson City Plaza Hotel & Events Center

We stayed three nights and not once was our room serviced. I had to keep going to the front desk asking for clean towels and plastic glasses. The pictures I saw online showed coffee service in the room - not so. The hallways constantly smelled overwhelming of cheap perfume. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is an old hotel that begs for updating.

The room was ok, nothing great. The TV didn't work but a "tech" got it to finally work after several attempts and trying a few different remotes. Sink cabinet fell apart ! Furnishing definitely older. Very noisy other rooms well into late hours so not much sleep. Breakfast was ok and the breakfast worker did her best keeping it stocked but wasn't the friendliest. Even as I'm writing this the noise from above me is uncalled for. It's close to restaurants and casinos. I stayed 4 nights, noisy each night. Price is average for the area. I doubt if I would come again my next trip to Carson City. Rooms: Need updated Nearby activities: Plenty of close by activities Walkability: Many activities within walking distance.
