I feel bad writing a 2 star because this place has so much potential. What makes a good daycare is not the toys, hours, location, or even always the prices. It is all about hiring talent and being able to retain talent. This starts with the owners. We decided to stop going first because my 4 year old said his teacher was mean. I did see how she was rude to the kids too. I felt like she did the job because it was what she did for years, but not what she loved. Once my son started crying when we said we would go there, we decided to stop. That teacher ended up getting fired/leaving and left on a very bad note. However, we loved our 2 year old's teacher and kept him there until we found a new location that could care for both kids. Today, I got an email how our favorite teacher chose to leave. (Even though we stopped going months ago.) There is a hire turnover, which is not good for anyone. My kids also got sick a lot! Not sure how often they clean the toys. Our new location the kids have not had any sick days so far. It is so worth it to pay more to not have medical bills or take days off work. I hope the owner reads this and does not hire in pain, but takes time to find the best people to care for the kids. Interview 10 good people and pick one. Find ways to keep the talented ones and others go early who turn out not to be a good fit. The owner does her own bookkeeping and there are a lot of mistakes. We need more good daycares in the area, and there are not a lot to pick from. I hope the owner can change this place around and stay in businesses to help families.
