The place is very interesting and very welcoming .the staff was friendly and very attentive and the food was great!I would like to say our server/waitress was prompt ,friendly,and professional!thank you Diane,we greatly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Great place to eat in north Platte,Neb.

Absolutely horrible.. terrible service, food was even worse. Can't even cut a chicken breast with a steak knife. Burger asked for medium, was completely charred. Bun wasn't toasted. Kids grilled cheese came out 6 minutes after everyone eles' food. Talked to manager...all she had was excuses excuses excuses. I don't care about getting comped. Just get it right. Which they seem to never do 3 times going there now. So in other words...until they get new chefs, new servers, and new management. I will never go here again. Place sucks. Atleast the young people waiting to be seated took my advice when I said "DON'T EAT HERE". THEY SAID OK AND WALKED OUT

Use to work here aged steaks that are hand cut

We had a small family dinner after a funeral the day before with an out of town cousin, 4 of us total. I ordered the bacon wrapped filet at $30 I specifically told the waitress I wanted it medium rare and to error on the side of rare vs the other direction. Over 30 minutes later I got my supposed to be fine piece of Nebraska beef totally ruined - it was BROWN in the center. I informed the waitress it was totally unacceptable and showed her how BROWN the center was and an aside to that it was over-charred on the outside to the point of being burnt, her first reply to my complaint was you need to be quiet my other customers will here you complaining. She took it back and after 15 minutes came back and said they were out of filet's now - but they could bring me a prime rib - I saw those on the menu when I was deciding my initial order and wanted a filet but in the interest of being very hungry and everyone else at the table almost done with there dinner I said ok but I want it medium rare. 15 minutes go by and she finally serves me this piece of prime rib that I immediately see this is way overcooked as well. When I informed the waitress of this her answer was it's the lighting out here in the kitchen it's medium rare. I said ok let's cut into it and I'll show you. She said oh no don't do that I'll just take it back, pretty obvious to me they knew it was not medium rare and didn't want it cut so they could re-sell it even though I had already salt and peppered it. I assumed they were going to find a place on the prime rib that was medium rare and bring it to me. 20 more minutes go by and after inquiring when my dinner was coming she then told me they were out of filets and didn't have any prime rib that was medium rare so the cancelled my order. By then everyone else had been done eating for awhile so I kept my cool having already been admonished before on complaining and said I'll just go get something at Arby's when we leave. AND Let's top all this off - the restaurant charged me for the cup of French Onion soup they had served me that came with the meal I had ordered initially. It was the ABSOLUTE worst experience I have ever had in ANY restaurant in my 61 years on the planet. AND I will sign this because this is not an internet rant it HAPPENED. Jim Hunt - Hershey, NE
