I've been to Grandmother's before and always enjoyed it! I was excited to be going there for my friend's birthday party; She reserved a table for 8 people, not knowing for sure how many people would come and it turned out that 12 people showed up. The food was alright, but my mixed drink tasted weird and I had my friend try it as well to be sure. The main issue that night was the supervising manager. She was rude and seemed frustrated that we needed another table. There were many issues with the server, but we were informed by the manager Saulena that the server was new and still learning. The real issues were that 2 of our party did not get their food until 30 minutes after the rest of us got our food. The manager only discount $1 off everyone's ticket. I did not get my drink, which I never drank, refunded to me; I can't believe the attitude and cursing the manager did when most of us were upset that it took over 45 minutes to get our checks and most of the checks were only discounted $1. I have never been more dissatisfied at a restaurant before. I really hope they get their night management under control.
