Red Roof Inn & Suites Lincoln

I recently had a horrible experience here. I made a reservation online a few days before I was going to stay here. When I showed up, the gal working behind the desk stated they did not have my reservation. I showed her the email confirmation and the fact that my card had been successfully charged for the stay. An hour later, her boss shows up and tells me that just a day or two prior; they completely switched computer systems and any reservation or payment made before then did not exist in their system. I found that to be unbelievable. However, if they would have sincerely apologized for that, this would have not been a 1 (0 if that was possible) star, but they didn't. They completely made the situation to be my fault. Horrible customer service on their part and I will never consider staying there again.

Nothing fancy, but for the price you can't beat it. Clean rooms, breakfast (although only cold foods) nice and helpful front desk staff. Plenty within walking distance as well. Walkability: Within just a few blocks there are tons of restaurants, pretty nice bars, a Walmart, and a cute neighborhood for a stroll.
