Progressive is a fraud company! They are committing fraud right now. Poor customer service. I have a wonderful video of my interaction I will be going public with.

Unfortunately they have a horrible cancellation policy. My auto policy for the. family was about $1200 a month for 4 of us (2 are teens) When I found a policy at State Farm for half the price, I cancelled my Progressive policy after 10 days, and I got back $50. I was charged for the full 6 months term of "inactive period" from the time I requested the policy until the policy was active. I've never heard of such a thing. So basically, I'm charged for all sorts of fees for 6 months, even though I would have paid month-to-month. Insurance companies are suffering right now so they have to find creative ways to make money. What do you expect from such an industry. Insurance is a scam that is all a gamble, and they make sure they don't lose. Zero stars.

Been a customer since 2022, never missed a payment. When the renewal came my rates went up, I haven't had any speeding tickets nor any claims in about 5 years. I just recently had a hit and run done to my vehicle and the agent was of no help at all, such a waste of time all to find out I might as well pay for the damages myself. Feel like the agent kept trying to get me to use my own insurance from the start of the claim to cover the damages, on top of that wouldn't provide me with the individuals information who hit my car. The individual who hit my car drove a nicer Mercedes than mines I just don't at all believe that they didn't have insurance. I was the one to suggest we try to go after the individual's insurance, she was pushing for me to use my insurance as to hurry up and close out the claim. What am I paying Progressive for at this point? I will most likely be looking into another insurance company when my renewal comes
