Columbus Physical Therapy

I came to physical therapy with lower back pain and shoulder pain. Treatment was awesome back pain was resolved in first week and shoulder pain resolved by third week. Had great experience with staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

I am very frustrated and aggravated (both with my injury and mentally) after visiting Columbus PT. I was billed for a Physical Therapist even though most days I saw a Physical Therapist Assistant. I never saw the PT who did my initial eval again, and it seemed the notes weren't transferred, because I constantly had to reexplain myself. They don't diagnose things, but instead throw general exercises without taking into consideration the specific needs of the patient. I never felt like they actually understood my injury. My feedback was continually ignored and I was constantly unsure of the treatment plan and path forward. The treatments did more to aggravate my injury, and when I stated that, they said I just needed to get used to the exercises. The billing department lags very much, and is inconsistent with treatment. There's no communication to the patient for what is being performed, so it's a surprise later. Edit: I have talked to the Director at CPT, with specific concerns. I felt she was very dismissive.

Staff does an excellent job. People are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Great communication and I would highly recommend.
