I deposited a large check here so that I did not have to pay the wire fee. I did it last week. I did it from one of my business accounts to another at Wells Fargo. I knew there would be a hold due to the amount. I received a letter today saying, "We are delaying the availability of the funds from the check(s) described below because we believe the check(s) may not be paid." What a slap in the face! I understand holds, but to look at me and make a judgement that it would not be paid is ridiculous. The minute this clears, I will be closing this business account. I've been banking with them for almost 20 years on our personal account. Not one issue. 20 years! Maybe they should not make judgments on how someone looks and instead on their history with the company instead. I've never been so upset in my life. To whoever responded to this post, I will contact the branch that dealt with me personally. I do not know you and will not be sending my information to you.
