image So far so good, Jackie l. Has guided me through the whole process. I have nothing but good things to say about her, and I am a difficult person to deal with. Without her and her assistance I would still be spinning my wheels. I am very grateful to her, and would have no reluctance to recommend her to any other Viet Nam veterans.
Thank you Jackie.

image My mother qualifies for benefits and after the death of my father a Vietnam Veteran was told to hand in documentation providing proof of income, assets, medical need, etc. etc. etc. All were handed in on time to the VA yet her application has still not been processed. It has been sitting at the VA for nearly a year. My mother continues to get requests for required documentation that has already been provided and is actually in her file but rather than look in her file, it is easier to just keep asking for the same information over and over giving the VA endless "30 days to review" and passing off the responsibility to someone else. We are now at a place where my mother's health is being effected due to the stress of these repeated requests only to have her file sit. She qualifies for benefits as detailed in your rules and regulations, she has provided all of the necessary documentation and my father damn sure did his part. We are tired of the misinformation, no information and b.s. by every single person we speak to on this matter. Meanwhile, my mom continues to falter physically, mentally and emotionally waiting to hear if she will be able to pay her bills and health care needs. Somebody somewhere in the VA must be able to get her file pushed through. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR. DISGRACEFUL. Our most recent request and letter came from Regional office Director, no name, on purpose so there is no accountability. His name is Brady Cartner and he is requesting information that is not pertinent to the my mothers application. We will continue to be very loud about the lack of follow through and actual work done on my mother's behalf to anyone and everyone that will listen. Horrible way to treat vets and their families.
