I first like to start off saying that this was the worst customer service and business ethic I've ever experienced in Livingston. If you are looking for a good prices and honest people, save yourself time, money, and one big headache. Go one block down to Floral Boutique... For my wedding I ordered one dozen red roses from Costco for $100 to do my own centerpieces. I wanted to accent the red with a few black roses, so I went first to Floral Boutique. They told me they couldn't really get BLACK roses. That they would still be pretty red. But they could spray paint them for me and get them close to the effect that I wanted. She also quoted me a very good price. But i went down to Livingston Floral and Gifts to compare. The owner there told me she could get black roses. I told her what the other florist said but she assured me she could get them BLACK BLACK. Her prices were higher but i wanted black roses. First she quoted my about $50 dollars for a dozen, but she convinced me to buy 15 saying she would have a hard time selling them. She told me they would be ready for pick up early the day of my wedding. Then she calls me a week later telling me I'm gonna have to pay the shipping charge, another $22... ok. The day before the wedding she calls me and says they wont be ready until 1pm the next day. This leaves me very little time to put them in my centerpieces. The wedding is at 5pm and its 30 miles from her shop. My girlfriend picks them up and brings them on her way in. When i get them, they are still packaged. Not trimmed and rehydrate like she promises. I open them, THEY'RE RED! I turned into bridezilla! lol. I payed $85 for 15 red roses. I swear, you couldn't tell the difference between them and the Costco roses. I called her in a panic. I told her they were red and she would have it. She just kept talking over me telling me they were black. I told her I would have gone with the other florist that would have painted them if she had been honest with me. Instead of offering any help, she hung up on me!! I had to take a deep breath and call the other florist. She was very sympathetic. She sold my husband a can of the black flower paint at a dirt cheap price. I painted them myself and my wedding was beautiful. With no help from Livingston Floral and Gifts. And that's my rant.
