Unfriendly staff on 2 occasions. We were discouraged from visiting with the dogs because they didn't want to take them out to the yard. Kids (under 18) weren't allowed to see dogs because of "liability". Liability waivers are a pretty handy tool. We went to donate a large bag of dog food and were pretty disappointed at the overall experience.

We went in to adopt a cat. We ended up with a kitten as she went straight to my husband and she picked him. We were able to take her home that day. The next day when we went back to pay for her adoption fee they were extremely rude and tried making us give back the kitten and said we could never adopt a pet again because of a report that we didnt know anything of. Me and my husband are still confused because the report doesnt add up to anything. The date for an example is wrong. And I have actual proof of why that date is wrong. It said not good people , me and my husband werent even together when they made this report. And the report makes no sense. They said during the introduction of buttercup, we never had an intro to a buttercup before. What confuses me is weve been able to adopt there after this report was made. It really upsets me as I believe this report was falsely made up. I dont know why or who would do that but thats the only thing I can come up with. Weve never had any issues before with this place until just recently. I will give the place a 4 star for the new building and the set up.
