The sushi is very well done, fresh and tasty. The space is perfect and we love to sit at the sushi counter and watch them roll. My only complaint is the rolls are too big and, as such, pricey. It makes it hard to enjoy variety with a small group. I would buy twice as many rolls if they were 1/3 smaller.

Service sucks, should have taken the warning sign when fruit flies were in my sake. Decided to proceed Day 2 of my body rejecting whatever the hell I digested from this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid. As I sit here on the toilet (not even kidding) Im angered knowing i literally paid for this experience.

Went here tonight for a group dinner/birthday party. I ordered the Butterfish sashimi, which was actually quite good, but am pretty sure it was not black cod, which is what butterfish typically is. I also ordered the "I Love You Man" roll. It was just ok. The tempura was a bit soft and the shrimp had already cooled off, like it had been sitting for a while. It was a bit of a wait for the food, I think partially due to how big the table was, but I think the food sat just so they could bring out giant plates of multiple rolls at the same time. It was served in a way that implied family style, but we indicated that we did not want it that way initially. We had already waited a bit, so I didn't want to wait again for new food. As I stated before, the food was just ok. I tried a couple other people's rolls, and honestly, all the rolls kind of tasted the same, which was weird when the ingredients were so different. Oh, and the fried crispy leeks on top? Don't put those on, guys. It's bitter, dry, and off-putting. Service seemed to be from some sort of manager, so that was a pretty good experience from that front. This was my first time here, and the atmosphere was a bit confusing, but seemed to lean more into the younger crowd, which is fine, but when your staff who's making your food is taking shots with patrons at the sushi counter, I think your problems run deep. I've eaten at many sushi restaurants on the West Coast, and there's definite room for improvement here. I'm hoping this wasn't my last trip here, but with what I experienced, I'm thinking it might be unless some things change.

Been here a few times, twice dining in and tonight was a takeout order. The first time was great, second time the server didnt know that they served coffee when the station was literally right behind where we were seated. She also told me that she didnt know if the chef could make an avocado roll Has she ever eaten at a sushi restaurant? Tonight is the third time, and I ordered 2 rolls, edamame and shishito peppers to go. The place was busy, so it took longer than what we were told, thats fine. However the to go portions were so minimal, the edamame was about half the amount they give when dining in and there were maybe 10 shishitos total The rolls also had uneven patches of rice, so the roll was very hard to eat. Overall, its a decent place to dine especially being that sushi is somewhat scarce in landlocked Montana, but dont order the edamame to go.
