I have been dealing with this company.for years. I build gunstocks for a living, have been for over 15 years. I have worked with other companies in the past but after dealing with Macon I will go no where else. They have a very large inventory, prices are very fair, and the quality of work is superior. I have read several of the other reviews. First of all the time frame. I have seen very quick turnaround in my opinion. When your good you will be busy therefore it takes more time because of more customers. Second complaints of stocks not fitting. They are semi inlet. Not a drop on. I would rather have to remove wood than not having enough. Can take it off can't put it back on . I have worked on stocks made by Boyds and a few other companies and their walnut is the worst that I have ever seen. Strat grain kiln dried absolute junk. Macon uses good quality wood. Also some very beautiful pieces. One of the most impressive thing about this company is the knowledge. When you order a stock they actually ask you the details.

I am retired and on a fixed income. I googled rolling block buttstocks and came across Macon Gunstocks LLC. Since they are from Missouri and I from Iowa, and their prices were within my budget, I decided to send them an email. I enjoyed conversing with them and placed an order. When I received the Butt Stock I was amazed!! I was expecting plain walnut and never expected the figure in the stock that I was holding in my hand. Their inletting was great and yet left me plenty of wood to fit to my action. I am so very happy with this butt Stock that i have recommended them in a number of online rolling block groups that I belong to. Thank you again!!!

100% satisfied with the work completed on my 725 Citori. Bryan was great. He listened to everything I wanted out of a gunstock and delivered an amazing product. And I can't leave out Vicki. She was a sweetheart and always returned emails and phone calls quickly. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a high quality gunstock.

This out fit is a complete and total joke!!!! Quality is NOT a part of their vocabulary Do Not waste your money or time with them. I ordered a machine inletted stock based on my gun (Winchester featherweight)... I received a classic and the barrel channel was too wide. Sent them my original stock to copy... and when it came back - WAAAYYYY too wide AGAIN!!!! I cannot understand it they require me to send them something to copy why they would not actually copy it. Either they do not have the skills to produce quality workmanship or they lack the ability to care and take pride in their work. Beyond disappointed and out several $$$$ for a chunk of firewood.
