        This is a fun place to eat. But it's pretty quiet at lunch when the nearby university is not in session.

        Definitely not what it used to be. Food wasnt bad but service and atmosphere definitely was. Loud rap music. Asked for utensils and only got one set for the two of us.

        I had come here with a group of my friends, all of us 21, we had a server take all of our ids and threaten to scan them. Theyre real so we did not object or raise issues. Our server (male with a man bun) took one of our friends actual ids and then told him that he could meet him outside of another bar downtown in order to get it back. The server was insinuating a potential fight in order to get our friends id back, which is absurd. I understand this is a bar in a college town, but the kind of behavior towards people who are of age and willing to spend money here is unreal. I will not be coming back to ebbets after this incident.
