Silex Residential Center

I am the guardian to my bother, who has lived at this RCF for 4 years, having been at 2 other facilities previously. The owners are honest, compassionate and caring. I visit regularly, and have never walked in on anything I deemed concerning, even when I come unannounced. They are one of the few/ similar facilities in the area/state that has kept the virus at bay. People suffering from mental illness are difficult to care for, but Scott, Mona and their team do it in a way that maintains some measure of dignity for my brother.

Something wrong with this place. My nephew has a lot of issues and this place was given to us as a possible placement by the hospital. He has quite a bit of money in his bank account and from the first contact all they were worried about was getting his bank account closed, all the money sent to him at their address and getting us to get SSA to have the checks going to them. Talked about them getting Walmart gift cards and getting this account under a $1000. Way to fishy.

Silex Residential Home is owned by a husband and wife whose personal mission in life is to help others. They go above and beyond their responsibilities to create a caring, nurturing, and inclusive home. Residents and employees are treated like family here. I highly recommended this facility for you or your loved ones!

They are hiding something. Someone I know has been volunteering their time there for almost a year now and the community members there love her. She was told not to come back after she found out there was bed bugs there and also the person who reported the bed bugs was shipped 3 hours away and now there is another young lady being shipped out 3 hours away because she confided in the volunteer. I visited this place a few times and when asking questions for these community members there was never a direct answer. They screen ALL phone calls and listen into all phone calls. Something really fishy is going on here. Who do we contact about this situation?
