Missouri cares about young people who need help. Does more than most states when young people could actually go to prison instead. So group dynamics program. If the young people didn’t get it ... oh well ... that’s on them.

I went through the program at Spanish lake , it is all what you learn there and building peer relationship s . Staff was good always treated me with respect , but other clients made it hard for the group to receive more benefits. DYS needs to focus on reintegrating group members in the community (MORE PHONE CALLS) before release had alot of anxiety due to cottage confinement (group members ran) a few passed away since I have left RIP overall it wasn't bad decent food. Better than county jail, and staff do their best to help you achieve your goals . Thanks for helping me get my HISET .

I remember being there as a child, the children would restrain each other. You would have 8 or so girls pushing your bones and head into the floor or ground, digging there nails into you and bruising you. I remember it was a nightmare. I also remember if you felt sick or anything the nurse would say it's stress drink more water. I remember a boy died there from neglect.
