Really was a great steak house with a wonderful atmosphere. I am sorry to see it go from the downtown scene!

Took the family on Monday 12/29/14 for 5pm Reservation. Had a couple of kids with us, so we went earlier than most would for dinner. We all had steak, which everyone enjoyed. The Bison Filet was amazing, and the reason we sought out this restaurant. Wait staff was very attentive, and answered all of our questions. I enjoyed the architecture of the building with large windows, high ceilings, and exposed stone / brick. Having a full bar adjacent but not within the dinning space is a nice feature.

We were recommended this restaurant as being a very good restaurant. We had a reservation for 10 at 6:30 and were politely seated when we arrived at. 6:15. The waiter came buy and when explains the menu said they were regretfully out of the 8oz filet. We ordered a couple bottles of wine and dinner. As the bottles of wine arrived we were told these are the last two and they are out. Then about 15 minutes later he came back and told one person in out party sorry we are out of this steak you will need to change your order. This happened 3 more times over the next half hour or 45 minutes, that parts of an order had to be changed. We went to order a few more bottles of wine and after 3 try's ( each choice the waiter would come back with the comment sorry we are out of that wine). We finally sent the waiter to come back with a list of wines in stock which he graciously did. Finally 2:45 minutes later from sitting we received our orders. Our A la carte items came and 6 minutes later the entres came. By this time the a la carte items were getting cool. ( they did taste good. I will admit the brussel sprouts were great). The people with the steaks said they were good. The tuna which was describe as fresh flown in Ahi tune came out cooked like canned tuna. Not what you would expect from what's described as a high end restaurant. The manager did come and ask how it was, we did tell him slow, tuna was way over cooked, we were upset that 70% of our choices had to be changed. But, he only apologized it was his first day, he was from France and hope to make this place better over the next few weeks. The waiter was nice and apologized every time what we asked for was not around. He took it with unit when we teased him, but he should not of had to continual apologize for 4 hours that the wine list is 50% errors and the menu was 40% wrong. In the end did we get a free dessert or a reduce cost or something. No and we probably did to expect to receive a discount. But left with large disappointment that I feel I have never seen in a restaurant before, unless I was watching Gordon Ramsey and kitchen nightmares.
