Dana took our newborn photos and we had a wonderful experience! She made us feel super comfortable, got beautiful photos back to us so quickly, and her communication was great throughout the entire process.

We were lucky enough to have Dana photograph our son’s birth just 6 weeks ago. Having her document this important event in our lives was one of the best decisions we’ve made. I’ve looked through the photos almost daily to relive the moments! It’s so helpful in processing everything that happens - as labor and birth can be such a whirlwind! It’s great to be able to look back and see exactly what happened and when. I love that I can relive my favorite moments as many times as I want. This was our second child but first time having a birth photographer. Dana’s presence in our birth space was that of another support person. I don’t remember ever seeing a camera, a flash, or even being aware that pictures were being taken. I just remember a calm, supportive voice! I cannot recommend her enough! Dana also photographed a Milk Bath shoot of daughter and me a couple years ago. She was absolutely amazing to work with and took the most wonderful photos! I'm so happy to have these memories and this positive experience is what led me to use her as my birth photographer!

Dana is simply incredible, but not only for her work (which speaks for itself - one of the beauties of the visual arts) but also for her presence. She has the ability to always understand when she has to be invisible, when to give direction, when to say something encouraging, when to make a joke, when to hold a hand... We had the pleasure of having her support during a much-unwanted c-section and also during a newborn session a couple of weeks later. Just to give you an example of her talent and approach, she met with our doula and gave her bootcamp style photography training so she could take pictures in the OR (no photographers were allowed due to COVID). Even though she was not in the OR with us, she was able to create a beautiful birth portfolio that makes us tear up every time we see it. We can't imagine the time it took her to turn these images into art. As much as I did not want a c-section, these images allow me to see the beauty of it all and brought a peaceful closure to our birth story. To show how personable she is, I can simply say that my husband, not the biggest fan of photography sessions, said he would do one with her anytime.

I adored working with Dana! From the moment we met she set me at ease and we connected easily. I loved how easily she fit into my birthing experience, not intrusive, a calming presence! The video and pictures turned out beautifully! I couldn’t have asked for a more caring photographer and I loved that she was ready exactly when we needed her! Overall fantastic experience and I will continually recommend her!

Dana has a golden warmth and magic to the way she shows up and creates with her clients. The organic essence of her images are proof. Dana's capture of connection and lighting is heart-melting. We are way grateful for her professional and timely service and OH SO recommend Dana!
