I tried to apply to this company and met the manager we talked and everything seem fine even though he was late to our interview while I was an hour early he was one hour late to ours he said he will call in three days after my interview he did not more like next week he decided to call so he asked me can I come in to take a driving test because he knew I had to be at work at 10am so he said come in at 6am I got there at 5:50 am and tried to talk to his driver that will take me to start my driving test one red flag the driver didn’t know I was coming or even doing a driving test, so I had to wait an hour to get started because for the second time they where busy even though I told this manager I could do the test on Monday which was my off day he still scheduled it for that Wednesday so I waited for an hour and finally got to on my driving test we went to get a trailer and take it to a warehouse now red flag number two I saw the tandems where slid all the way to the back I thought that was illegal and I told the driver that it made me feel uncomfortable and how if I worked there I would definitely have to adjust the tandems he told me how he leaves them to the back because the manager likes them to the back which is fine but when I’m on a highway I would like the tandems slid to the front so since the tandems where so back I had to cut corners dangerously close because the tandems were slid to the back the driver that was testing me was not willing to let me move them forward while driving the driver constantly keep giving me missed directions because he didn’t remember if roads where close or not or telling me in the last minute after I make a turn that I had to keep straight or that I had to get over once we got to the warehouse he didn’t come with me to checked in but told me to get the paperwork sign and come back I had to back in a spot that he told me to go to only for a spotter to tell me I couldn’t park there so I had to find another spot when I did I back in that spot perfectly no damage no nothing I let the landing gear down with no problem and I unhooked and rehooked to another trailer before leaving I had to close the doors but still the tandems where too far back and he didn’t want me to adjust them he told me we had to maybe take this empty trailer to another warehouse but the problem was another red flag I had to go to work at 10 AM so he didn’t know that I had to go to work because the manager did not tell him that so I had to drive back it is now 9:18 I have to go so I left the manager told me he will call but never did when I called today he claims they’re was some driving concerns I didn’t argue just said thank you and have a great day but once I thought about it there wasn’t anything driving concerns I constantly checked my mirrors trying to make wide swings and also backed into a spot perfectly check cameras they don’t lie this was very unprofessional to begin with how he was often late and how his employees weren’t aware of my arrival on two separate occasions also a driving test is not delivering at a warehouse it’s around the block or so not working for free which that’s what they where trying to do have someone work for free I didn’t get training pay or load pay I deliver a load and also the tandem thing I would check into overall if you made it this far I would say try another company this one was all over the place
