The last time I came here was 20 years ago. I had the most fanominal scallops I've ever had. Not surprising they were no longer on the menu. I mentioned to our waiter that I still talk about those scallops when Domincs comes up in conversation. When he came back for our order, he came with 3 menues from 20 years ago and asked me to find the dish I liked so much and offered to make it special!!!
Dominic hemself came over to our table to greet us. What a lovely man.
It's no wonder this is the #1 restaurant in St. Louis. Thank you for a truely memorable evening.

One of the best restaurants on the hill which is known for their Italian cuisine.
You wont be disappointed.
White tablecloth, excellent service.
The Rolls served hot in a basket with butter is easy to overindulge in.
The calamari was cooked perfectly.
If you like risotto, try the risotto with lobster.
Veal Parmesan is excellent.
If youre lucky, you may hear Dominic sing at one of the tables for a birthday or anniversary!
This is the real deal folks.
Parking: The hill is the Italian neighborhood in St. Louis. There is street parking for free, but it can be challenging sometimes and you may have to drive through the neighborhood to find a parking space. It comes with the territory. Its worth the effort.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! The best service! The nicest people! The best Italian food! Its just a beautiful establishment... I cant say enough about the hospitality that we received! They run a tight ship! I super highly recommend! We cant wait to go back!!!

This restaurant is a hit or miss. VERY similar experience to all the other low reviews.
In one corner of the restaurant you have Dominic the owner singing to tables, professional time/service/table management by the serversbut in the other back side of the restaurant you have 40 minute wait time between drinks, appetizers, salad, and meal. We waited two hours while other tables that got there at the same time & later were waited properly and able to leave. Its very unprofessional especially when you join a waitlist for an early reservation for a reason, just to be held there til after closing. Both tables next to me were also very concerned about the slow service and time management.
I hope the manager doesnt reply to this like the others to invalidate my poor experience as a customernot a good look.
