Worst health insurance company ever. I have been waiting over 3 months for my doctor to be approved for their network. I can't get an answer from anyone. Check the web site is all they tell me. Their doctor list is so old some have been dead 5 years or more. My wife and I will be getting off their plan.

Awful customer service, and I'm being polite. Health care in the U.S. is a complicated system to navigate. I am now responsible for $10,000 in medical bills due to their incompetent customer service guidance. They give vague, general advice on highly important issues like the need to apply for pre-determination of coverage and letters of medical necessity from the doctor. Their denied claim appeals process is completely via snail mail and you're not allowed to talk with anyone except the front line customer service people. It was like sending a decision appeal to a company in the 1980s. Their customer service reps are undertrained or under-qualified and should not be advising the public on important and costly health decisions. Their appeals process is slow and antiquated and I believe that's by design.
