Don't rely on these people to help you! You'll be scabbed over before they show up, and they charge $200 just for rolling out. Took 100 minutes for me, when I was about 3 blocks away.

This week I was in the unfortunate situation that I needed my husband to call 9-1-1 and request and ambulance. I had passed out, and woke to find myself on the floor and my husband calling my name of our home in Tower Grove South. My husband called 9-1-1, was transferred and put on a brief hold before answering the dispatchers questions. She assured him that an ambulance was on its way. 45 minutes later, my husband who was sitting by the door waiting as instructed for the ambulance to arrive called up to me still on the floor and said, I dont think the ambulance is coming. As I was light headed and concerned about passing out if I was upright, I asked for a pillow and a robe to cover with. Two hours after the call was made to 9-1-1, there was a light tapping on the door and if was the ambulance workers. When they came up the stairs and saw me laying on the floor, I was asked, Why are you lying on the floor. I thought that a very odd question as that was the reason 9-1-1 was contacted initially. I explained that I had lost consciousness and felt lightheaded and worried about passing out. With their aid, I managed to get in a sitting position. I was then asked if I Could negotiate the steps. I replied that felt faint. One of the paramedics said that he could not help me as he recently had surgery. They seemed aggravated that the fire department was not dispatched for my call. I did negotiate the stairs with the aid of the single firefighter and my husband and was then taken to Barnes Jewish. The ambulance was clean and it did get me to the hospital, so I awarded them two stars.

They Pick up my mom last night and I ask them to take her to st Marys or mercys but they said they were taking her at SLU no matter what. SLU is an awful hospital. Then they loaded her up and my brother asked them again to take her to st Marys or mercys and they again said no because if she get worse theyd have to take her to SLU no matter what. You go to SLU and sit in the hall in a wheelchair waiting to be checked out. Thats what happened to her they just dumped her in a wheelchair in the hall and left. They had her in the ambulance for 10-15 minutes asking her question because I was listening on her cell for phone but they were unable to take her to the hospital she wanted to go too. Then on top of it the were rude talking over me and then they heard me say I was going to report them and one of the ems person said here the phone number call them in the morning he ran it off so quickly I couldnt get it. Very disappointed because they were so Very unprofessional!!!!!!

Thanks to the guy who can't drive my dog is in pain now. I just paid $7,000 for him to have back surgery a few weeks ago. He hit my dash at 39mph because I locked up my brakes. So I wouldn't total that car and hurt mine and myself. Definitely not happy!
