True Title singlehandedly made our home purchase an extended nightmare. They neglected to inform us or our realtor of a "showstopper" problem with our new property's title until the *day before* closing, despite claiming to have worked on it for weeks before. According to them, it was everyone's fault but their own. True Title's failure to perform due diligence forced us into a whirlwind of complications and delays, as if moving during a pandemic was not already stressful enough. While our title agent was kind and personable, the company president was dismissive and defensive to my partner on the phone, making excuses and empty promises for follow-up information. Our seller told us point blank, "I wish I'd chosen a different title company." We wish so too.
