My sisters and i met for happy hour. Been here before. The appetizers were half price. We shared quesadillas and nachos with chicken. Excellent. Great atmosphere. Waitress was great! Will be back.

I would encourage you to patronize a local business that genuinely cares. There are plenty around with character and kindness. Trailhead is not one. My wife and I had a rare night by ourselves and chose to eat at Trailhead because it would be informal and convenient. It was only informal. It was busy - it's Christmas time, so we knew it would be, but we decided to wait the 45 minutes to be seated and grabbed a beer downstairs. We were seated as promised, and our waiter, who was friendly, brought us drinks and took our order. Our onion rings appetizer came out and was fine - $9.00 for about a half dozen onion rings is no bargain. If they listed it at $1.50 per onion ring on the menu, nobody would by it. Then we sat and sat...and sat. One hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered (2 hours total), our waiter came by to see how we were doing, and I asked if he knew when we were going to get our food. He left to check, and when he came back he said our food (two burgers - that's it) was at the back of the line and it was going to be a while. It's clear we were forgotten. There were people around us in larger parties who came after us getting their food no problem. It was also clear at that point they didn't want us there any longer. They didn't try to make it right. The waiter said sorry, offered that we could wait even longer, at the back of the line, and asked if we wanted to keep waiting. We declined. He brought us a check for a single beer. They comped the onion rings, the least they could do, and we left after over two hours as hungry as we arrived. Mistakes happen, and that's okay. The service industry is tough, but consider Trailhead this way: it's a large, often-crowded, characterless pub that doesn't need your business. Sure, more times than not they actually feed people, but you won't remember a thing about it. In the end, my wife and I meandered just next door to the Old Mill Stream Inn, which was smaller, warmly lit, and had excellent food and service - some of the best fish and chips I've had. Mill Stream made our night memorable for the right reasons. My wife and I laughed about everything and still loved our night away together. Thanks only to Trailhead for showing us the path next door to Old Mill Stream Inn, where we had one of the happiest nights of 2019.
