I was on the line with century link and I told the lady I was only looking around to see my options and best internet service for me and she said “whatever bye” and hung up on me horrible customer service and thirsty for clients

Took several calls to stop internet at northern west Mo. Great service in southern mo.for phone.wish internet was available in this location .miss it.

I got an internet plan with this company over the phone. The representative told me the price per month and the speed. About 7 months later I went to cancel as I was moving. They told me that since I was on a promotional rate and on a contact I would have to pay the remaining monthly price for the remainder of the contract if I wanted to cancel. That amounted to over $200. Never were the words “promotion” or “contract” mentioned when I had called and signed up. But what are my options when a major corporation decides to take advantage of me like this?? I can’t hire a layer and fight them. And they know that. So it would have been reported to the credit bureau eventually if I had refused to pay. I was a completely broke college student at the time. Completely disgusting how this company takes advantage of people. Please please please DO NOT do business with this company.

Asked for a professional install and was told I could only do a self install. A week later I asked for a self install and was told I could only do a professional install.
