Bank of Franklin County - O'Fallon

I recently did my PPP loan with Jason in Franklin County bank! WOW! 10/10 would recommend. Jason turned this stressful time into an easy pain-free process! We bank both personally and for our business at the location in Ofallon. We are extremely happy with the service from Amanda and her team. The incentives for our children's accounts to do well in school are also appreciated.

We had to work with Dennis on the loan for our business. We closed on the loan in September, it was a mess then, and we are still dealing with the mess. Dennis and his team, (not sure who the real issue is with since Dennis has yet to take responsibility for anything) struggle with paperwork and organization. I had to sign a few papers for the closing. Dennis was told that I would need to take off work to make it to the meeting so it was important that I was in and out as quickly as possible. Well, there was nothing quick about the process. He had three packets of paper stuffed in folders. Turns out he didnt have all the necessary documents and we had to wait there while the office faxed the correct documents over to the title office. He then went through the paperwork not explaining an ounce of the documentation laid in front of us. He was frantic, discombobulated, and unprofessional. Months later, in March, he calls requesting a picture of the check we paid to an inspector of the property. He said he we couldnt come up with picture of the check, that we would need to write another one. We paid the inspector back in September, prior to the close of the loan- if that wasnt paid, that company certainly wouldnt have waited until March to come forward about it. In April, he stopped by asking for an additional $200 because paperwork was filed incorrectly. This is clearly an error on the part of the Bank of Franklin County. Our understanding is that the loan has been closed for months and should not need anything further. These examples are just a few of the very frustrating and unprofessional issues we have had to deal with here. We strongly advise using another bank to finance your business needs. I do not make bad reviews often, I try to only post good reviews, but I feel people need to know the mess that is happening at this establishment (or with this employee).
