Welcome to Stone Cottage Inn, While my husband and I were planning for retirement and looking for that Special Place to Retire we searched for 2 years looking for all the things we dreamed of. We wanted a relaxing place to enjoy beautiful historical homes and buildings, as well as Small Town living where the people are friendly where there is a sense of community and the countryside landscape is breathtaking. After finding our home in Mountain Grove we were surprised to see that a historical building at the Town Square was up for sale! My husband had always wanted an Antique store and had been collecting for over 40 years. This was part 2 of the dream.We were able to acquire the building at the Square which is now Good Old Days Antiques. Our daughter came to visit and saw the town and loved it as much as we did, so...... they moved here as well thus fulfilling her dream of owning her own Bakery. When we purchased the building we saw the potential to become part of the community by offering the Stone Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast as well. The building when purchased was in pretty sad shape due to its age, so we underwent the task of renovating the building. The process was daunting at times but well worth it. We are now proud to announce that our Grand opening and Ribbon cutting date is March 1st, 2019. Stone Cottage Inn is located at the Historical Town Square in Mountain Grove MO. There is always something going on and the community has several events throughout the year including parades, Antique Junk Fest, TriCounty Fair events, Truck Pulls and much more. There is plenty of outside recreation including fishing, hunting, golf, and various water activities including kayaking and canoeing. Short distance to beautiful lakes and rivers. Come join us at the Stone Cottage Inn and enjoy the true Ozark experience. Meet the people and take in the beautiful scenery.
