        I've been with this insurance for over ten years. Never missed a payment, never filed a claim. My roof was recently damaged so I filed a claim. Twice adjusters were sent out giving different reasons for rejecting my claim. This company seems more like some kind of racket than anything else. Read your policy carefully. I don't think there is any loss that will actually be covered by Barton Mutual.

        Terrible insurance to put your trust of your property into. Go with someone else from get go. Save yourself the trouble of even messing with them.

        The worst ever especially if you are a single female. I had horrible storm damage and Barton refused to repair roof and then put a rider on the roof. They did not ANY of the other storm damage. They raised premiums by quadruple amounts and when I asked why...their answer "we have other insurance claims to pay in the country". They have also been in receivership and Farm Bureau took over, but Barton failed to notify me of their insolvency.
